You may have noticed I've not been doing much writing lately -- honestly, I blame my Creative Writing class. Between how incredibly discouraging it is (It is to enjoying writing like, oh, having nothing but crap, godawful anime on TV would be to being an anime fan) and the fact I have to write an original story each week, I'm feeling like I've no urge at all to write, and if I DO sit myself down to write, it's trying to force my brain into something a) that's original fiction and b) that my classmates won't just all say "I don't get genre stuff" and move on. (...this happened to me once last term. >_>; Hell, at least I have a different group now...)

So it's been hard to get around to fanfic, which is sad, because I <3 writing normally. :\ As a result, I'm doing two things: First, I've signed up for two pairings on 30_kisses (Yuuri/Wolfram from Kyou Kara Maou and Leorio/Kurapica from HunterxHunter, because all my main pairings were taken.). Second, I'm trying to finish up my long-outstanding drabble meme started in september (I have no excuse for how long it's taken. I really don't.) Third, I'm pondering throwing another drabble meme out there, but slightly different than usual... I'm not sure, I'll see how it goes with the sept drabble challenge. (After this, I only have two left: lukita's and beckerbell's. The delay on both of these is just that I'm behind on reading the manga. XD So it may be a little while more for those two stories, I'm sorry.

Been trying to study today. Not so easy, because though we do have a mock exam on monday, but the teacher hasn't given us the list of slides to study yet, so she basically apologized for being slow and told us to "memorize the whole book" and she'd "give us the list on monday" (ACTUAL exam is on friday, see). ...so it's hard to care, because I know I'll probably not manage to get everything I need to get done memorized and yeah. Woo. Since it's so early on, I wonder if she'll let us get away with "c. 700 BC" and stuff for the dates... >_>; ...plus, one of my roommates invited a friend over and DEAR GOD, HE IS LOUD. GAH. WTF. Anyway.

...and this one, uh, requires ... okay, I guess it doesn't require any explanation, but it does require a quick warning to the people on my friendslist, as the majority of you are Roy/Ed fans first and foremost, and this is NOT your preferred pairing. It's Al/Winry, but it's ALSO Ed/Winry. Yeah, I know, I don't normally write that; it's not that I mind the pairing, it's just that I have difficulties getting it to WORK in a canon context, and that I PREFER other pairings anyways, so why bother? Still, once in a while, I'll GET an idea, so... yeah. I LIKED this idea, and I hope it works. But I'm aware that some of you very much do dislike the pairing. Man, I had a messed up dream last night with some kind of murder mystery and strange dirty city amusement park horror. And Ed and Al from FMA. Ironically, it was one of those dreams when I recognized them, all, "Hey! It's Ed and Al from FMA!" [clings] "FAMILIAR FACES OMG." And they were all "CRAZY PSYCHO LADY CLINGING TO LEG GET HER OFF ME GET HER OFF ME."

Well, not literally, but, you know. That same sort of '....why is this girl acting like she knows us? Why does she think we CARE?' thing.
